FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the House Judiciary Committee on July 12, where House Republicans asked a host of pointed questions including on the agency’s misconduct in relation to the Russia collusion allegations against former President Donald Trump during the 2016 election and its connection to social media censorship of Americans, among others.
Mr. Wray also said he was “aghast” regarding a leaked FBI memo from January seeking to counter an alleged extremist threat of “radical traditionalist Catholics.”
Also, some of the largest tax-prep companies spent years sharing Americans’ financial data with tech giants, according to a congressional investigation released on July 12.
