The Israeli army has uncovered a hidden Hamas tunnel under Gaza’s al-Shifa Hospital, stating it served as a command center for Hamas fighters.
The tunnel is complete with a bathroom, a kitchen, and an air-conditioned meeting room. The shaft down into the tunnel, roughly 6-and-a-half feet deep, was accessed through an outdoor opening in the hospital complex grounds—which were once crowded with tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians the Israeli army said had served as human shields against Israeli airstrikes.
Following the discovery of such a sophisticated Hamas tunnel system beneath Gaza’s al-Shifa Hospital, questions have arisen about how such constructions had been financed and constructed.
Could China have been involved in building the Hamas terrorist group’s tunnels in Gaza?
