Former Chinese premier Li Keqiang’s recent death is causing considerable suspicion in China. Mr. Li, 68, was once the second-most-powerful political figure in China behind Chinese communist leader Xi Jinping. Mr. Li was premier from March 2013 until March of this year, when he retired.
Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) appeared in court on Oct. 27, pleading not guilty to a 23-count indictment accusing him of an array of corruption offenses, including 10 felony counts that federal prosecutors added this month.
