Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has announced that he’ll be running for president as an Independent, not as a Democrat. He made the announcement at Independence Mall in front of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Mr. Kennedy is now the second presidential candidate to run as an Independent after Cornel West’s announcement Thursday.
U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer met with China’s leader Xi Jinping on Monday. Heading a delegation of six senators, Mr. Schumer said the top goal of the delegation’s visit is to seek fair trade between the two countries.
