45 Years Since Magnitude 7.8 Chinese Earthquake
On July 28, 3:42 am, 45 years ago, a powerful magnitude 7.8 earthquake shook Tangshan city in northern China's Hebei Province. Deaths exceeded 240,000, with more than 160,000 seriously injured.
