Democratic strategist Aditi Bussells and former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown discussed with NTD's Steve Lance President Donald Trump's crackdown on crime, which led to violent crime statistics plummeting to a historic low.

Bussells said the average American wants safety for their children to play in the park without fear, and called the defund the police movement of 2020 a "mistake."

Brown said Trump's initiative and relentlessness set him apart from other presidents in his war on crime, adding that Trump would have gone forward in cracking down on crime in Washington without Mayor Muriel Bowser's help.

Brown said he notices the crime drop in the nation's capital. The panel also discussed Luigi Mangione's guilty plea for killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, the cult following he had after the murder, which included crowdfunding $1.3 m for his defense.
