President Donald Trump came to his Cabinet meeting with a fresh ultimatum prepared for Iran. The president stood firm and refused to let talks be hindered by political pressure. Trump commented that Iran is “negotiating on fumes.”

Texas Republicans came out in force to pick Ken Paxton for the Texas Senate race. It serves as an example of the president’s endorsement machine and a greater strategy ahead of the midterms.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is threatening to block international flights to sanctuary cities. Violent protests at an ICE facility in Newark may have backfired as the department seeks to weaken the mechanisms that incentivize illegal immigration. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin vowed to take action against efforts to disrupt ICE, stating, “We see Antifa signs are literally out there.”

Trump’s anti-fraud squad is out in force and already showing results. States that have failed to verify recipients of federal benefit programs and identify fraudsters are being forced to take notice, as the Task Force to Eliminate Fraud uncovers decades of theft and misuse of taxpayer funds.
