CCTV footage shows what appears to be the abduction of an American journalist in Baghdad on Tuesday. The video shows a person being forced into a car before it quickly drives away from the scene.

Officials later identified the kidnapping victim as American freelance journalist Shelly Kittleson. Iraqi authorities confirmed the abduction and said an investigation is underway to locate the journalist.
