But as we take a closer look at the distribution of cases, the loss seems to vary significantly by country.

In this special report, we ask some questions that you might not have thought of:

Why are Italy and Iran, both thousands of miles away from China, the two most affected countries outside mainland China?

And what's the difference between South Korea and Taiwan? Both are geographically close to China, but one now has nearly 7,800 cases, while the other has less than 50.
