Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio) says he was threatened and forced off the road on Thursday by a motorist holding a Palestinian flag. The incident occurred while Miller was driving in Rocky River, a suburb of Cleveland.

Miller, who is Jewish, posted a video on social media describing the driver as “deranged.” He said the man shouted violent threats, including “death to Israel,” and that he threatened to kill Miller and his family.

"As I was driving to work, some unhinged, deranged man decided to lay on his horn and run me off the road when he couldn't get my attention to show me a Palestinian flag," he said.

Miller said the incident was an act of anti-Semitic violence, and that it had been reported to both local police and U.S. Capitol Police.

The Rocky River Police Department has confirmed that a report was filed, but hasn’t released further details.

Miller said the suspect has been identified, but did not elaborate. The incident follows the recent shooting of lawmakers in Minnesota.
