He told us that the IRGC is most likely disconnected from Tehran leadership, and that this "hardline Islamic Shia sect" is not going to change within the timeframe of this conflict given its history. Furthermore, the Iranian people have to keep their momentum going if they want to rise up and be successful, he said.
