More arrests as the Justice Department focuses on exports of sensitive technology. The DOJ on Tuesday charged two Chinese nationals with illegally shipping AI microchips to China with their company, ALX Solutions. The suspects are Chuan Geng, 28, of Pasadena, and Shiwei Yang, 28, of El Monte, California.

This comes after Cadence Design Systems, another California tech company, pleaded guilty to a similar charge.
