Some Taiwanese tech companies are found to have recruited semiconductor experts for the Chinese regime. Taiwanese prosecutors launched an investigation into 19 Taiwanese individuals. These individuals are involved in poaching Taiwanese experts for Chinese companies. Some of the individuals were paid an usually high salary by Chinese companies in Taiwan.

A top Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official is admitting that China faces a serious unemployment problem. During an annual CCP meeting, Chinese regime Premier Li <span class="nanospell-typo" data-cke-bogus="true">Keqiang</span> says employment prospects are still grim this year. He says 200 million people are in what he calls "flexible employment." That's almost one in every seven Chinese.
