Leavitt Previews Trump's Thursday Election Speech

Lee Neves, Democratic strategist, and Matt Klink, owner and president of Klink Campaigns, discussed with NTD's Steve Lance, former chief medical advisor to the president, Dr. Anthony Fauci's invoking the 5th amendment to refrain from answering questions from the Senate Homeland Security Committee, his writings in his diary, and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.)'s vow to call a vote for a resolution to hold Fauci in contempt of Congress.

Neves said getting a resolution passed in a narrowly divided Senate will be difficult, particularly in an election year. Klink said he believes there will be multiple attempts to bring Fauci before the bar in multiple states, and his journal entries add more fuel to the fire for an already controversial person, and that the government handled COVID badly.

Pivoting to the midterm election, Neves said the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are socialists who are hijacking the Democratic Party, and DSA candidates are already stumbling. Klink said the Democrats will move radically left, and the DSA is part and parcel of the Democratic Party, and there's nothing like it in the Republican Party.
