In an interview with "Just the News", Patel said agents are looking into protest organizers and funders. He said the protests may be impeding law enforcement operations and endangering public safety.

Patel said the FBI is investigating paid protest campaigns nationwide. The review includes organizers, protesters, and funding sources. He said those campaigns may be driving illicit activities.
