House Passes Defense Policy Bill That Attaches SAVE America Act

Madeline Summerville, attorney and Democratic speech-writer, and Brian Maloney, Republican strategist, discussed with NTD's Jack Bradley the implications of the density of the flood of migrants into Spain within 24 hours, and reports that Moroccan police directed illegal migrants toward Spanish territory. Summerville said the flood of migrants appears to be orchestrated.

Maloney said there is massive political fallout for President Donald Trump and the European Union that he didn't see women and children among the flood of migrants, and saw mostly young, military-aged men.

Pivoting to the midterm election, the panel discussed the upcoming primary elections in multiple states in August, the potential liability for the Democratic National Committee's financial having a $2 million deficit, and the implications of the $600 million edge Republicans have in the 2026 midterm election.

Summerville said the Democratic Socialists of America is a new party emerging, and getting a lot of earned media. Maloney said the DNC is taking over the DSA, and the Republican establishment wasted $100 million on a GOP primary in Texas.

The panel also discussed the expected cost of the friction between the Democratic Party's moderate and progressive wings over strategy in the swing states, and Trump's strategy in endorsing candidates for Michigan's Senate seat, the Michigan governor's race, and the House and gubernatorial primary elections in Arizona.
