Streets in La Réole, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, remained submerged, showing the storm’s ongoing severe impact.

France has reported two deaths from Storm Nils—one in Landes and another in Tarn-et-Garonne.

Homes and vehicles remained flooded in several towns, with floodwaters damaging local infrastructure.

Authorities continued rescue operations on Monday as the country dealt with the extreme rainfall.
