Former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol is back in custody, having been arrested for the second time over his failed bid to impose martial law in December.

A Seoul court approved the warrant, citing concerns that Yoon might seek to destroy evidence. Prosecutors are accusing Yoon of violating Cabinet members’ rights by excluding most of them from a key meeting. He is also accused of fabricating a false martial law document, ordering aides to delete phone records, and directing false statements to foreign media.

Yoon was taken to the Seoul Detention Center south of the capital, where he is now awaiting further questioning.
