NTD spoke to Craig Holman, a government affairs lobbyist and campaign finance expert at Public Citizen, to find out why this likely happened. He says the transaction was probably designed to provide RFK's campaign with a false veneer of momentum right at the start, and said it was an act that would equate to “gaming the system.”
