The North Pole witnessed a quirky golf tournament last week, with golfers swapping well-kept greens for ice at the inaugural North Pole Clock Golf Championship.

The tournament’s participants played clock golf, a Victorian-era variation where players putt from numbered points arranged like a round clock face. The aim is to putt the ball toward a single central hole.

While clock golf was mostly played in gardens by amateur golfers, this new championship adjusted the rules to suit the cold and icy North Pole setting.
