Tehran is continuing to carry out strikes on its Gulf neighbors. A new wave of attacks targeted energy facilities in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday.

A report from Britain said a tanker anchored near the Strait of Hormuz was struck by “an unknown projectile.” The vessel sustained minor structural damage, and the crew is safe. It was the first strike in or around the vital waterway in five days.

A separate strike triggered a fire at Fujairah Port, which is located on the Gulf of Oman just outside the Strait of Hormuz. The port is a vital export hub for regional oil supplies.
