Iran's retaliation strikes on Israel on Oct. 1 were due to its weakening proxy terrorist groups, Hamas and Hezbollah, according to Shahrzad Ghanei, publisher and CEO of The Epoch Times Persian edition. Iran's strikes on Israel have minimal impact so far, she said, and it comes with precedent. When Iran launched direct strikes on Western nations in retaliation to some event, they have always had almost no damage, she said.
