The Israeli military said that Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport was used to transfer weapons and cash to Iran-backed terrorists, especially Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Israel said it destroyed 16 aircraft used to transport weapons in overnight strikes on Tehran.

Several Iranian fighter jets were also destroyed.
