Since Wednesday night, Los Angeles County banned indoor and outdoor dining services for restaurants and bars in response to a surge of coronavirus cases.

The order came after an increase of over 4,000 new cases per day over a five-day period.

Only take-out, drive-thru, and delivery services will be allowed.

The restriction was immediately met with a public backlash. The California Restaurant Association is filing a lawsuit against Los Angeles County for suspending in-person dining.
