A federal judge has rejected Meta's request to dismiss a lawsuit accusing the company of designing Facebook and Instagram to addict children. The lawsuit brought by 29 state attorneys general, alleges Meta knowingly concealed the risks its platforms pose to young users, including depression, anxiety, sleep problems and other mental health concerns. The judge ruled that there are enough factual disputes for the case to go before a jury.
