Montana seeks to outlaw the app over fears that pro-Beijing misinformation could sway public opinion and harm Americans.

It's the first state in the U.S. to support a full ban.

Montana's Attorney General Austin Knudsen, said Monday the state legislature and governor "did the right thing in prohibiting TikTok from operating in Montana."
