The Cowboys five Super Bowl titles are behind only Pittsburgh's and New England’s six, yet they haven’t advanced as far as even the conference championship in nearly three decades. But the brand they’ve built as America’s team, while playing their home games in the prestigious AT&T Stadium, and blowing the rest of the league away, with just over a billion dollars in annual revenue puts them in the top spot.

Meanwhile, the average NFL team averaged better than $5 billion—more than double the average NBA or MLB team.
