China’s military completed three days of combat exercises around the island of Taiwan. The drills began a day after Taiwan President Tsai Ing-Wen returned to Taiwan from a trip to the United States. China’s military simulated strikes around the island in response to Tsai’s meeting with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy last week. China has previously said that such a meeting would violate China’s sovereignty.

Award-winning journalist Alex Newman, in discussion with NTD's Stefania Cox, warns that the murderous dictator, Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping, is exploiting the political chaos sparked by former President Donald Trump's impeachment to expand his own power.
