Meanwhile, Attorney General Merrick Garland denied allegations that the Justice Department, FBI, or IRS interfered with the investigation into Hunter Biden.

Nearly one year has passed since the nation's highest court overturned the Roe v. Wade ruling, allowing states to, once again, make their own call on abortion laws. Numerous lawmakers held events either praising the ruling or criticizing it. Three major abortion industry groups have backed President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign, giving the Democratic candidates the industry stamp of approval.

The Supreme Court ruled 8–1 on June 23 that Texas and Louisiana may not challenge the Biden administration’s 2021 decision to focus its deportation efforts on individuals deemed to be a threat to public safety.

The Faith & Freedom Coalition kicked off its Road to Majority Policy Conference in Washington, D.C. Almost the entire field of GOP 2024 presidential contenders, including former President Donald Trump, are appearing together to address conservatives and evangelicals.
