The president says the task force will launch a “whole-of-government” approach to rooting out fraud, waste, and abuse within federal benefit programs, including programs jointly administered with state and local partners.

A powerful late-winter storm system is sweeping across the U.S., bringing blizzard conditions, severe storms, and widespread travel disruptions. Forecasters warn the system could produce tornadoes and damaging winds in parts of the Mid-Atlantic and the Carolinas.
