The Supreme Court Thursday sided with South Carolina Republicans in a challenge over their redrawing of the state's congressional map. The Justices ruled that the plaintiffs failed to prove that the map's design was chiefly motivated by race. This means the map can be used in the upcoming election.

Former President Donald Trump held a campaign rally in the Bronx. It's his first rally in New York since 2016. He's addressed voters on the state's economy, crime, and the illegal immigration crisis.

The Senate voted 43–50 to block a border bill, with opposition from both parties. Opponents argued that the bill might only make the situation worse by allowing 5,000 illegal immigrants into the country a day.

The presidents of multiple universities, including Rutgers and UCLA, testified before the House Education Committee. Lawmakers grilled them on anti-S<span class="nanospell-typo" data-cke-bogus="true">emitic</span> incidents that took place on college campuses during anti-Israel protests.
