President Joe Biden said Milton is looking like "the storm of the century" and urged residents to heed evacuation orders. Due to the hurricane, Biden postponed an event Thursday that marks the centenary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Ireland.

Hezbollah terrorists launched another major rocket attack on northern Israel, killing two people. And in central Israel, six people were wounded when a terrorist began stabbing people. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Biden over the phone about Israel's potential retaliatory attack on Iran.

Former President Donald Trump held two rallies in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania, with a focus on the economy and immigration. Vice President Kamala Harris joined Biden virtually for a briefing on Hurricane Milton, and traveled to Las Vegas for a town hall event.
