The United States is also unfreezing $6 billion of Iranian funds as part of the deal, which has been criticized by former President Donald Trump and others.

Hunter Biden sued the Internal Revenue Service, alleging its agents illegally released his tax information and that the agency failed to protect his private records.

A Los Angeles County deputy was shot and killed inside his patrol car during an ambush on Saturday. Authorities have detained the suspect and are investigating the killing.

The U.S. military is searching for the wreckage of an F-35 fighter jet that crashed in South Carolina. The pilot ejected safely from the aircraft following an emergency mid-air and authorities are certain it's no longer flying, but questions remain about the circumstances that caused the ejection.
