One detainee is dead and two others remain in critical condition after a sniper targeted an ICE field office in Dallas, Texas. Authorities say the suspected shooter died by suicide, and anti-ICE messages were found on ammunition at the scene. The White House responded to the shooting, calling for an end to anti-ICE rhetoric.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the United Nations on Wednesday, warning that the world is experiencing the most destructive arms race in human history and that Russian President Vladimir Putin seeks to expand his war beyond Ukraine. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with his Russian counterpart on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

The White House also said the Secret Service is investigating a tech malfunction at the United Nations on Tuesday, when an escalator stopped working halfway up with President Trump and First Lady Melania on it. Additionally, President Trump is hinting at a lawsuit against ABC over the return of <em>Jimmy Kimmel Live!</em>.
