Asian markets are sinking amid U.S. tariffs and China's response. Tokyo's Nikkei dropped nearly 8 percent, and major companies like Mizuho and Mitsubishi Financial Groups lost about 10 percent. China’s markets fell, with Ali Baba losing 10 percent. The White House says more than 50 countries, including Thailand and Taiwan, are seeking talks over tariffs.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. met with the parents of an eight-year-old girl who died of measles in Texas. The child, who was unvaccinated, passed away from measles-related pulmonary failure. Kennedy also visited the family of a six-year-old girl who died in February. Kennedy has spoken to Governor Greg Abbott and redeployed CDC teams to assist the state's efforts.
