President Donald Trump announced late Wednesday evening that he will nominate Todd Blanche to serve as attorney general.

“We are going to make him permanent attorney general,” Trump said at a Rose Garden event.

Blanche was tapped as acting attorney general after Trump announced on April 2 that Attorney General Pam Bondi was transitioning to an important role in the private sector.

Israel will continue its operations on the ground in southern Lebanon despite agreeing to a ceasefire, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on June 4.

His comments were made a day after Lebanon and Israel agreed to implement a ceasefire during talks in Washington, with the deal dependent on a halt in strikes from the Hezbollah terrorist group.
