President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, made a brief appearance before Congress on Jan. 10. It came as a surprise for House Committee members deciding on whether to hold him in contempt of Congress. During the GOP effort to impeach President Biden, Hunter Biden defied a subpoena to appear before Congress in December.

House China Select Committee Chairman Mike Gallagher is pushing for trade limits on a foreign tech firm over its ties to China's communist regime. He has penned a letter to Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, asking her to consider sanctioning United Arab Emirates-based firm Group 42, along with thirteen related entities.
