Scott Pelley Fired by ’60 Minutes’ After Clash With Management

Steve Scully, a senior fellow at the Former Members of Congress Association, and Mark Meckler, president and co-founder of the Convention of States, joined a panel discussion with NTD's Steve Lance on the one-year anniversary of the re-launch of the Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) program.

Several victims’ mothers spoke at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement press conference on April 9.

The panel discussed the public outcry for the program to be relaunched, predominantly from victims’ families seeking updates on investigations, and how VOICE is a good mechanism to assist victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

They also discussed the significance of this relaunch after being closed under the Biden administration and the changes under the Trump administration.

The panel also discussed a Fairfax County, Virginia case where prosecutors offered a plea deal to two illegal immigrants who admitted to a murder; White House Border Czar Tom Homan's criticisms of Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger's immigration policy; how states should cooperate with federal law enforcement on immigration; and how Virginia has met that obligation under Governor Spanberger.
