The panel also discussed the affordability of the Affordable Care Act, how it has benefitted insurance companies, and the Democrats' strategy to make Americans feel the pain of the shutdown to force Republicans to the negotiating table. They also discussed the Trump administration's strikes on boats carrying drugs from Latin America and heading to the United States, and the buildup of military forces in the waters near South America to combat narco-trafficking.
