Madeline Summerville, Democratic speechwriter, and Matt Klink, GOP strategist and president of Klink Campaigns, discussed with NTD's Steve Lance the chaos within the Democratic primary race, which Summerville says helped Democratic Socialists of America-backed Francesca Hong become the frontrunner.

Klink said numerous moderate candidates also benefitted Hong, and Republicans need to paint Hong as the radical that she is, and highlight her positions, like canceling Thanksgiving. '

He said Hong is out of touch with the voters in Wisconsin outside Milwaukee and Madison, the Democratic Party stands for opposing President Donald Trump, and the more progressive candidates are the only ones talking about doing anything.

Klink says that is what is attractive to voters. Summerville says it's possible a DSA candidate could win a statewide race, and if that happens, it's a possible referendum on the Trump administration. Klink says loyalty to Trump is at an all-time high, and Trump will be the main influencer in the November midterm election.
