They discussed the escalator at the United Nations headquarters in New York jolting President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump when they ascended, Trump's criticism of the U.N. for “creating” problems instead of solving them, and Ryan Routh's guilty verdict on all charges for his attempted assassination of the president.

The panel also discussed the widespread criticism the U.N. faces for its influence by the Chinese Communist Party, particularly pertaining to its diluted condemnation of human rights abuses in China.
