In the murder case of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, police are trawling digital records, video footage, phone records, and other sources to build their case against suspect Luigi Mangione.

That's according to Jason Johnson, the president of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund and a former police executive. He joined NTD to discuss the case and said that law enforcement is still seeking to establish a motive for the killing. Police are also compiling background information to complement the forensic evidence recovered at the crime scene.
