Before President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump face off in their debate, a media report says the former president has a proposal to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

The proposal says, if former President Trump wins in November, he should only supply Ukraine with weapons if there's a peace deal on the table, according to two former chiefs of staff and his National Security Council. Former President Trump's spokesperson said only statements directly from former President Trump should be considered.

NTD spoke to John Sitilides, a former U.S. State Department diplomacy consultant, for his take on this and how it could impact U.S.-China relations.
