The Los Angeles Rams are one win from the Super Bowl after surviving a dramatic scare in Chicago. The Rams beat the Chicago Bears 20–17 in overtime, advancing to the NFC Championship game.

Chicago rookie quarterback Caleb Williams forced overtime with a stunning last-minute touchdown pass, but threw an interception on the Bears’ first possession of overtime. That set up a 42-yard game-winning field goal by Harrison Mevis, sending Los Angeles to a title match-up next week in Seattle.

Meanwhile, college football will crown an unlikely champion Monday night. The Indiana Hoosiers and the Miami Hurricanes will meet for the national title after both began the season as 100-to-one long shots. Indiana is led by Heisman-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza, while Miami returns to the title stage behind head coach Mario Cristobal.

President Donald Trump will attend the game at Hard Rock Stadium, along with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, prompting heightened security and traffic restrictions around the stadium.
