NTD speaks to Kervin Aucoin about the mercenary force. Mr. Aucoin is the former lead intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance coordinator for the U.S. Army, and the host of the “This Week Explained” podcast. He says the former Wagner forces have since been spread out across Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus—as well as in certain African nations. The group has also been assigned a new leader, with the “Africa Corps” term used in Russian media referring to the group’s contingents in Africa.
