Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) reintroduced the National Right-to-Work Guarantee Bill. It would shield all Americans from having to pay union dues to get or keep a job. NTD speaks to Mark Mix, the president of the National Right to Work Committee, who says the bill directly addresses the issue of compulsion vs. freedom in the American workplace.

Mix also discredits the 2015 study by the Economic Policy Institute that says workers in non-right-to-work states earned over 15 percent more than those in right-to-work states, saying it’s funded by the AFL-CIO and does not account for the cost of living. He says when that is taken into account, workers in right-to-work states have $5,300 more in disposable income than in forced-unionism states.
