To find out more, NTD spoke to Kervin Aucoin, the former lead intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance coordinator for the U.S. Army, and the host of the “This Week Explained” podcast. Aucoin said that while Russia has sent some specialized forces into the region to repel the attacks, Moscow has not taken the bait, and has refrained from stretching its forces too thin.
