Eric Lionheart, a former U.S. Air Force combat controller and the founder of the First There Foundation, joined NTD to discuss the new initiative. He said the military invests approximately $1 million into some soldiers’ initial training, and that it makes sense to stay committed to that investment because these are individuals who are willing to sacrifice their lives to protect the nation.
