A skier got trapped upside down in deep snow after a fall at the Summit at Snoqualmie in Washington state. Fellow skier Ian Deans quickly rushed over to dig him out, and cleared away the snow to let him breathe.

The incident occurred on Friday after the area had seen 55 inches of snowfall, making for dangerous conditions. The trapped skier was unharmed, and Deans shared the rescue online to raise awareness about ski safety.
