The suspected gunman in the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday in a District of Columbia federal court, where he will be arraigned on preliminary federal charges.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro said on Saturday night that 31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen will be charged with using a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on a federal officer using a dangerous weapon, and predicted he will face more charges on Monday.
